Please ha a look into the readme-files on the Lenovo download pages.
Download and executing the driver-packages only extracts them into the directory C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS.
From there nou'll need to install the drivers and tools as described in the README
f.ex ATI video driver for WINDOWS 7:
Extracting the package
======================
1. Click Start, then click Start Search.
2. Type w1vdo08us17.exe in the search field, then click Search Everywhere.
This will locate the file you just downloaded.
3. Double-click the w1vdo08us17.exe icon. You may see a dialog stating
"A program needs your permission to continue". If you see this dialog,
click Continue.
4. Click Next. Read the license agreement.
5. Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
6. Click Next.
7. Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to
C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\Video\w1vdo08us17.
8. Click Next.

I noticed that the file you mentioned is a graphics card installer.

I was able to install it now. I took me less than 30 minutes to figure it out. Thanks a lot.
