I just bought a new RAM for my computer and it doesn't work. It's a Kingston DIMM 1024MB DDR2 (1GB 2Rx8 -5300U-555-12). The computer does not seem to recognize this RAM althought it fits perfectly into the slot.
Doing some research about this problem I found out that each motherboard supports only a certain range of memory types in certain combinations. However it went to the shop with the original RAM and showed it to the shop assistant and this is what i get for replacement.
Can you please indicate where can I check what kind of RAM does the motherboard accept? Or in case this one is supported, how can I get it installed?

Hello people! I have solved the problem. Main issue is that IBM ThinkCenter M52 (8113)'s Bios does not allow you to configure the RAM's frecuency so it must be 533MHz, PC-4200 in stead of PC-5300 (667 MHz).
