Lenovo M58p (7484-WHD) Max Memory?

I've tried checking here, http://www.lenovo.com/psref/pdf/ldwbook.pdf and it looks like our machines are custom builds. We are having trouble adding 16GB to the machine. We are using model memory - KTL-TCM58B/4G. Bios has been flashed and with this memory in the machines powers on and nothing happens. If I pull 2 of the sticks out it works. This leads me to believe this is one of the models that only supports 8GB but would like firm confirmation.

From memory 8 gigs is the max capacity for that generation of Thinkcentre.
