I don't find the -A5G in the ldwbook. Here's what it says for the other 6072s:
1GB std, 8GB max8, PC2-5300 667MHz DDR2,
non-parity, dual-channel capable, four 240-pin DIMM sockets;
Non-italics: standard memory in one socket; 3 sockets available
Some of the Ultra-Small M57s show 4G max.
These maximums are the max available as shipped, not necessarily what the maximum aftermarket could be.
The Kingston memory search says:
256MB (Removable) or
512MB (Removable) or
R40 XP Pro + Linux + Solaris, T43 XP Pro + Linux + Solaris, T61 XP Pro + Win 7 + VMs, T400 Win 7 Pro 64 + too many VMs to count, New T420 - a work in progress ... GeezBlog
