Options to regain use of my ThinkCentre A55 since the Intel GA Driver keeps taking down Win7

I have a ThinkCentre A55.  I upgraded Vista to Windows 7 in Feb 2010.  In September, I began getting a black screen followed by "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered.  Display driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Drivers for Windows Vista stopped responding and has recovered successfully".  It now happens frequently, freezes the system and crashes.  I need a fix - how to access the driver that shipped with the computer, where to find an older driver that works (since I suspect an auto MS upgrade caused this), whether or not a new video card will fix it, something.  Otherwise my next purchase won't be Lenovo.

Can't help if you don't post model/type number. Go here, scroll down to A55 and select your model number for the driver matrices for your particular machine. Windows 7 drivers are not available from lenovo for A55s, but your new installation of Windows 7 should have included the correct drivers. Insert your Win7 CD, and reinstall the drivers from there. Upgrading from Vista to Windows 7 has been a pain for a lot of people. Best to completely wipe the disk and install Windows7 from scratch, thereby avoiding mixing Vista/Win7 files.
