Recovery CD's for a Lenova M 8122

I am getting ready to reformate my desktop. I have 5 recovery CD's from IBM. My question is if I do the reformate will the disks include Windows XP which did come with the desktop when purchased new.

With those CDs you will restore the unit to factory-state, the way it was delivered to you.

This includes the original OS (Windows XP) plus whatever else they did put on.

You will need to do a full Windows update afterwards, maybe also SP2 (do that first if the CDs are not SP2).

And do a full IBM/Lenovo update as well.

Don't forget to install a current Antivirus program before you go online.

Download that and any other stuff (like a firewall) you may want/need, and burn them onto a CD/DVD before you wipe the lot!
