Hello all,
I bought 15 Thinkcenter for my school. All are under windows 7 and the problem I've on some of them is that sometimes (maybe especially after a windows update), they freeze on shutdown. The screen is black with just the mention 'Shutting down' and that's all. The only way to go on is pushing the button severa seconds to force it to stop. I already tried to let them more than one day but they're really frozen. If someone has an idea .. ![]()
Per advance, thanks for your help
Regards

Hello forstera and welcome to community,
I am really sad to know you have the shutdown issue with multiple systems
Kindly update the BIOS and other system drivers and if the issue is same then you need to update the hotfix
Please update and let me know the result.
Best Regards,
Tanuj

Hello Tanuj,
Sorry for my late answer, I did not see your post. I'll go today to the school and try to update the bios and the fix from Microsoft.
What is "funny" with this problem is that I made one computer and then I cloned the other ones but only 3 or 4 on the 15 have this problem ...
Anyway, I applied the fix and keep you informed.
Thanks for your help
Regards

I tried to install the fix you proposed but it is always says : updae does not apply to your computer. Maybe an update of Window was already made ; but the problem still there...
