ThinkCentre M71z with DisplayPort to DVI adapter

Hi Guys,

im using an M71z on Win7 Pro x64 SP1 with the newest Windows updates and Hardware drivers. Im trying to get a second screen working on DisplayPort with an adapter to DVI. Several Screens are tested, but it seems the ThinkCentre wont be able to contact these, he doesnt react if i put the adapter with cable in.

DislayPort to DisplayPort is no problem and proves the hardware is ok. Maybe there is a problem with chipset or the port in general?

machine number: 1741A5G

Anybody ideas how to fix it.

Hello sbue and welcome to community,

Please have the updated display driver and make sure two monitors are configured for the same refresh rate (for example, 60 Hz),
