I'm using the USB keyboard and the USB mouse. After Windows XP was reinstalled, BIOS showed that USBs are all still enabled and it works but the USB ports at front and back don't work when it loads the windows. How can I fix this problem?

If you connect a mouse, it "light" is on?

I disconnected the USB mouse and connected the PS2 mouse and it finally worked. When I tried to connect the USB hard drive, it didn't work.

I will repeat my question: if you connect your USB mouse to an USB port, the bottom "light" is powered on?

No, it is not on. When I tried to connect it to an USB port of my other computer, it is on.

Well, last thing you can test is using a Linux Live CD (for example, Ubuntu) and see if USB ports works.
If they don't, so you have a hardware problem.

When I reconnected it and went to BIOS, it is on.

They don't work when I used a CD.
The driver manager shows that there are 5 "unknown device" on the "? other devices" list. I don't know what these 5 "unknown devices" are.
