USFF External Power Supplies

Two questions...

 

Do Lenovo have any plans to include the (M57/M58USFF) external power supplies as an optional extra that can be purchased directly through the Lenovo website?

 

Also would it ever be feasible to amalgamate the Thinkpad and Thinkcentre power supplies so they both use the same?
