Will A60 (MT 8700) Support 1.5TB HDD?

The 80GB HDD in my A60 has filled up, and I really need to upgrade the HDD.  I found a 1.5TB SATA HDD that for $59, which is the same price as the 500GB drives I'm finding.  So, is there any reason that a 1.5TB HDD won't work in here?  The OS supports it, but I have been having trouble finding out if the system BIOS or core chipset have any limitations.  Thanks!

yes you can, BIOS will support that drive.

Thanks for the quick answer.  Just out of curiousity, am I missing the online documentation where that's discussed or is it not documented well or at all?

this drive size was not tested in the system at the time of production. So it wouldn't be tested in the machine or documented as been supported
