I have a 8183-G1U. How can I tell what series this machine is?
I recently installed XP SP2 on this machine so now I need to get the network installed so I can get to internet for updates.
I am having problems installing ethernet drivers.
I downloaded Q38Z1US (without applications) and Q37Z47US (with applications) from
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/TCTR-MA
put the files on USB drive and extracted to local C drive. Then I go to device manager, ethernet controller and try to install driver, but it is not working. Any ideas?
Thanks
