Think center 8183

I have got one second hand PC . IBM think Center 8183 . I am not able to use its net work card. I am trying all drivers every thing what I got from IBM web site but its does not accept any driver. Please help ..

Yeah, I have the same problem right after I reinstalled the XP Pro onto the 8183. I tried searching for hardware and OS specific drivers for the 818311U S50 but when I installed it, the device manager could still not manage to locate the drivers for the network card.

it's an intel PRO-100 VE Network connection avilable at intel.com i'm using it with no problems,here is the link(english) if you want to try

Opps!!! sorry above posts got my wires(computers) crossed if its a broadcom chip 8183 is that a( s51) anyhow the drivers are at broadcom and at drivers guide .com you'll need the 5700 series drivers

Lookat the chip it should say intel on in that case the first post was right

The utility usually works if it doesnt i have the driver its only 540 k but i can't attach it
