recovery disc from lenovo

Does anyone know if you can obtain a recovery disc from Lenovo even if you're not under warranty ? I have a Thinkcentre S50 (8183) with xp pro preinstalled & key licence.

I think you have to be in warranty but it doesn't hurt to try give them a call

The S50 is fairly old now, i am not sure whether they still stock the recovery media. You could call the Lenovo warranty customer support and try.

I tried contacting Lenovo tech.support on their toll-free numb. before posting my message but could'nt get thru. You're likely right ; it's wishful thinking to expect them to bail me out given the age of my computer. As a last ditch effort to avoid a 100$ reinstallation fee of my O/S : any ideas where I could find a reliable ISO image of XP PRO  on internet, that I could burn on a bootable CD ?

@prx, this is not a legal method of installing the OS, and not really something people can you give you advice on.
