Missing BIOS update for Thinkpad 560 and 560E [ Edited ]

Thinkpad 560, 560E:

There only no BIOS update available on the download site:

Driver matrix:

The download page of 560, 560E and 560Z  offer a japanese BIOS update for 560X instead or additional to 560, 560E, 560Z

It does not depend on the way to BIOS update: either use Quick path or driver matrix - the result is the same.

Hi Mornsgrans,

I'm unsure this is a mistake of putting up Japanese bios or that is no English bios at all. Escalated to esupport team for their response.

But the driver matrices of 560 and 560E still offer the wrong 560X-Bios update in japanese.

One Error found on the Thinkpad 560 BIOS download page:

Supported Operating Systems

• Microsoft Windows 7 32-bit, 64-bit
• Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3

The page itself is well linked now in the driver matrix. - Same as 560E.

Mornsgrans, the windows support info is fixed with win 98.

Also, the bios linked to Japanese version is fixed too. Remember to clear your browser cache in order to see the latest change.
