Cleo_Lenovo wrote:You can just change the MTM accordingly in this URL.
support.lenovo.com/en_US/default.page?submit=true&componentID=1303746740999&iwPreActions=SetProduct& QuickPath=6477-R4U&osName=Windows
As of this moment, valid entries in the quick path box will work. In addition, the osName field does not appear to make a difference in the results and can be dropped.
Here are some modifications of your example:
No osName:
support.lenovo.com/en_US/default.page?submit=true&
componentID=1303746740999&iwPreActions=SetProduct& QuickPath=6477-R4U
Machine Type Only:
support.lenovo.com/en_US/default.page?submit=true&
componentID=1303746740999&iwPreActions=SetProduct& QuickPath=6477
Subseries Name Only:
support.lenovo.com/en_US/default.page?submit=true&
componentID=1303746740999&iwPreActions=SetProduct& QuickPath=Thinkpad%20X300

Well, it's ok stuff. It would be better stuff if the osName field was working.
W520 Windows 7 64bit URL (not working - osName field ignored):
support.lenovo.com/en_US/default.page?submit=true&
Now you can use the network capture feature in IE9 to discover the hidden URL that is returned with the Browse Products function.
W520 Windows 7 64bit URL (working):
support.lenovo.com/en_US/default.page?submit=true&
So it's not the end of the world that the osName field does not work. However, it would be nice if it did.
Thanks for all your work on this.

I'm aware of that link. The solution to the original thread was:
support.lenovo.com/en_US/default.page?submit=true&
componentID=1303746740999&iwPreActions=SetProduct&
What I'm looking for is a replacement similar to the URL provided above but for Warranty Status the same way this URL did:
www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/warrantyLookup

I've merged your posts back with the original thread, sorry I didn't know you were talking about replacement URLs.
