What's up with the signatures?

I set my signature to my system specs but I saw it was chopped off and only 3 lines appeared so I removed the entire signature...

this is the signature I had:

Lenovo IdeaPad Y570-2349
• Intel Core i7 2670QM @ 2.20 / 3.10 GHz.
• 8 GB Hyundai DDR3 1333 MHz. RAM
• Kingston KC100 120GB SSD SATA-III + Toshiba THNSNB064GMCJ 64GB SSD SATA-II
• nVIDIA GeForce GT 555M 2GB DDR5 VRAM + Intel HD Graphics 3000
• 15.6' HD LED Screen (1366x768)
• Windows 7 Professional (x64)

Please help.......do do I make my signature appear properly?

ASUS G75VW-T1086V | i7-3610QM 2.30/3.30 GHz. | 16 GB DDR3 RAM 1600 Mhz. | LiteOn LAT-256M3S 256GB SSD + Seagate Momentus 5400RPM 1TB HDD | GeForce GTX 670M 3GB | 17.3' Full HD LED Screen

[ Edited ]

the height for standard users is currently set to 64 pixels.   you can fit four lines of 8 or 9px text or three lines of standard 12px text.   anything more gets cut off.

our goal is to keep members' signatures at a minimum to put focus on the content rather than gigantic spec sheets.   for many users it can be distracting when a member posts a one-line response but has ten lines of signature.

perhaps you could shorten your signature to something like this:

Lenovo IdeaPad Y570-2349
i7-2670QM   8 GB DDR3   120GB  SSD + 64GB SSD   GT 555M + HD3000   15.6" HD   Win 7 Pro x64

that cuts out the excruciating details yet still gets your raw system specs across.

Re: What's up with the signatures?

Hello,

Since this is Lenovo's support forum, one thing I would suggest is limiting information in your signature to just the bare machine type, along with any additional upgrades you have performed as it is likely the people you will be conversing are going to already be somewhat familiar with your particular model.
