Hi yesterday I posted a question regarding the circumstances / factors required for which client security solution 8.2 can be installed and the necessary pre-requisites seen as it doesn't want to install on my system.
The post now seems to have been removed for reasons unknown to me. Could anybody explain please?
Thanks,
Michael

Michael,
you have a private message, please click on the envelope at the top of the board.
Thanks

It was removed because it was a duplicate of the message you had posted here Just basic forum maintenance keeping things tidy so that the same discussion isn't getting splattered around in multiple threads.

I never knew I had a private message either....no e-mail ever came through to me?

No problem - the mod staff just scurries around in the background moving threads around, removing duplicates and empty posts, and just generally tidying things up as we go.
Re the private message (PM), andyP was referring to the forum's built-in messaging system rather than e-mail.
If you look at the top of the screen, you'll see a little envelope. If it's yellow, that means you have a message waiting, and you just need to click on the little envelope to pick it up. For some reason, the Lithium forum software doesn't provide an option to automatically send you an e-mail notification when you get a PM like the phpBB or vBulletin software does.
