Bluetooth mouse random disconnection

Question

The Bluetooth mouse is disconnecting randomly.

Answer

• Ensure BlueTooth is enabled in BIOS
• Ensure Bluetooth mouse is fully charged / new batteries
• Ensure that the Bluetooth mouse is paired properly with the laptop.

Once all 3 above has been done, please do the following.

1. Click Start
2. Click Run
3. Type 'devmgmt.msc'
4. Scroll to Bluetooth Devices
5. Double click on the devices and click on Power Management Tab.
6. Uncheck "disable this device to save power".
7. Press Ok.

Even with Bluetooth power managment disabled, this problem still occurs from time to time

on my X220, so a real fix still needs to be found!
