G550 - Downgrade to Win XP

Question

When installing Win XP on G550, I am getting a blue screen error.

Answer

Reboot PC and press F2 on Lenovo screen to go into BIOS.

 

At BIOS, change the hard drive mode to IDE and save BIOS changes.
