Hi
Back in July I purchased a Lenovo Laptop and applied for the cash back ..
I keep getting emails requesting an invoice/receipt.. I have now attached a scan of the invoice and product info 3 times and sent it back ... when is this going to be paid and how many times do I have to keep sending you the receipt?
This is going around in circles and getting nowhere. I have even faxed it to you twice.
Im not sure what else I can do to complete this as I have done as you asked 3 times!!
Could someone PLEASE check up on this and process the cashback
Kind regards
Colleen Taylor
PLEASE CHECK EMAILS TO support@levovopromo.com.au on 2/11/2011 at 5.59pm as this has the attachment with the receipt.

To answer that question, yes, I got mine eventually. I bought the laptop on 17th May, and the payment came through on 21st July.
It wasn't without drama, though -- the company Lenovo used at that time to process UK claims fumbled a few of them. Their apology email referrred to a "system error" producing one of three types of failure, and one can infer that some people had their claim wrongly cancelled, some got the wrong email, and some were credited £30 when they were due £75.
Still, all's well that ends well, and I hope yours comes through. Just be persistent

Hello
I have also problems with this cash back from Lenovo.
On the 12th of October I got an email asking for an invoice.
I replied on this email and sent them my invoice.
But I didn't hear anything back from them.
So on the 9th of December I asked them what was going on.
The replied on the 13th of December saying that they have sent me
2 emails on the 26th of October and the 2nd of November.
But I didn't got these email even not in my spam.
So I replyd saying that I didn't got their emails
and that I had sent the invoice before.
In this email I sent them the invoice again.
They replied just saying that they are not responsable if email get into my spam box.
Note that I have checked my spam but didn't get any email from them.
What can I do to get the cashback?

Hi,
Guess what I'm having problems with Lenovo too! The biggest problem is there isnt a phone number to call only a German email and fax!! Some one please help as even though my laptop is awesome my thoughts about lenevo are quickly turning bad!

I'm in Australia, and am having problems trying to get Lenovo's Visa cash card cash back.
I purchased my laptop on 17th January, 2012. After sending proof of purchase docs through twice, I was told it would take 10 weeks to receive the card.
On their website, it says 12 weeks, so I patiently waited.
It has now been more than 12 weeks, and so I emailed support@lenovopromo.com.au, what's going on?.
They replied within a few hours to say I should receive it by end April ie another 3 weeks.
It is starting to sound like a scam, and my research led me to this forum.
The terms and conditions say that the Gift card manufacturer is Universal Gift card, so I looked them up. Guess what, Universal claims IT ONLY TAKES 3 DAYS TO MAKE THE CARDS, after payment by the orderer is cleared.
https://universalgiftcard.com.au/faq.aspx#31
So this could be the problem, that Lenovo aren't paying out till the very last minute that they can get away with?
OR (and much more likely in my opinion) PERHAPS THEIR POLICY IS TO NOT SEND ANY OUT AT ALL, UNTIL A MINIMUM OF SAY, 2 OR 3 EMAILS/CALLS HAVE BEEN MADE TO THEM. Then they arrange to get it made. This would account for all the delays. And if you don't contact them, you don't get it at all. Smart on their part, financially. BUT very bad customer service.
If I don't receive my card by the end of April as they promise, I will be taking this to the retailer, and to the appropriate authorities. Offering a $100 cash back, then not paying it, is equivalent to THEFT. And I, like many others, based my buying decision on the cash back.
After reading through this quite long thread and litany of complants, it seems to me that the words 'criminal behaviour' may be aptly applied to this company. Or maybe it's just 'sloppy management'.
MOST COMPANIES EXPERIENCING DELAYS IN PROCESSING WOULD SIMPLY HIRE SOME CASUAL STAFF FOR THE DURATION, UNTIL THE BACKLOG WAS PROCESSED. LENOVO AREN'T DOING THAT. (Hint to Lenovo, get some temps in)
Do they not understand how powerful the internet is, and how quickly complaints can get around? It is no longer the dark ages where they may have gotten away with it, as each person was isolated and was unaware of others in the same predicament.
I doubt I'll be buying Lenovo again. I had another, unrelated issue with them which has also left a bad taste in my mouth.

Just a follow up to my last post.
I emailed them, saying if I didn't receive my card by the end of April I would take the matter to the relevant authorities etc etc.etc.
And guess what, I received my card just 4 days later by registered post.
Hallelujah!

Thanks for the information mate.
I too bought a Lenovo in late Jan 2012 and like you received an email promising the rebate to received in a Visa cash card in 10 weeks time. 10 weeks have come and gone and I have just emailed them a couple of days ago. I will give them until end of this month to reply me and give me a satisfactory reply or else I will be bringing the case to the Office of Fair Trading here in WA.
