Hold on my international card + poor customer service

 

I have tried to buy a Lenovo laptop from the Lenovo website using a Lebanese MasterCard. On the Lenovo website I got a message that said the transaction has failed but I discovered that the money has been put on hold on my banking account.

I contacted the customer support in Lenovo and they told me that My Money will be released in 30 days time.

I do not understand this long delay and I would like to know if there is any alternatives for not waiting the 30 days. Did anyone encounter a simillar issue and got it solved ?

The credit card hold may take up to 30 days to be released as its dependent on several factors.
