International warranty service

Hi,

My Thinkpad T410 was brought one year ago in US, and the warranty is going to be expired very soon. I would like to extend the warranty for another year. I'm wondering whether the extended warranty is eligible for the international warranty service? More particularly, can I have my machine repaired in mainland China with the extended warranty in the case it has any hardware problem?  By the way, I have registered the my machine in mainland China.

extended warranty allows to be eligible for the same international service as before, you can't upgrade or downgrade the level of international coverage as such.
