Hi, I've just bought a Lenovo ThinkPad but the keboard is all messed up, when I try to type a capital '2' so that I can get an @   it comes up with " and I need to press a capital ' to get a @ symbol.  Maybe I did something wrong setting up the ThinkPad, can anyone help me to fix this?? Please.

 

And whats the go with all the unwanted pop up tables, can't even scroll or select anthing without a pop up menu

regarding the keyboard, which keyboard language version you set in the Control panel under Region and Language? I have English (Australia) set.
