Lenovo have announced Lenovo Mobile Access a no-contract mobile broadband service which is said to be flexible and available in the US and 9 countries in Europe on 'select models of ThinkPad Classic and ThinkPad Edge laptops equipped with a 3G module'. See Press Release .
I thought I would take a look at this and I installed the client software and attemped to connect my TP X121e (with Sierra mobile broadband card) but without success. I was told that only new models with the software preinstalled can connect at this time but that post point of sale options will be coming soon.
Has anyone connected to this service yet or heard any news regarding future wider availability?
