Hello a few days ago I ordered a Ideapad Y580. I went to check it's order status today and all I get is an error page. It says Code:500
Internal Server Error
Can anyone tell me what's up?
My order number is: 4242033666
Thank you.

I am having the same problem. I chatted with customer service, and after explaining that I could not check my order status due to a "Code 500 - Internal Server Error", they replied a few minutes later saying that they are unable to check the status on their end because of the same error. Hmmmm.
I would think that they would put a blanket statement on the order status pages if they were doing routine maintenance....
Of course, this is all after 3 changes to my "estimated shipping date", the last of which is almost a full month after the original.
Needless to say, I'm not impressed by Lenovo's customer service!

I have this issue too. I better get my laptop by the 28th! I need it by then! I ordered my Lenovo Y570 on the 19th and had not fiddled with any of the cutomization options. I don't understand why my ship date is the 29th. I really need it by the 28th. The customer service was no help, some even acted very inappropriately and unprofessionally to me. I promised to never purchase a Lenovo computer again and I will be telling all of my friends not to purchase a Lenovo computer.

Yes I've been hearing a lot of bad things about lenovo's customer service. Personally I've never had any problems with their computers what so ever. But this is the first time I've bought from them directly online and I found the ship date to be a little too long. =/
I just hope this doesn't delay the ship date.

Same thing here - I ordered my W530 a few weeks ago and paid via Amazon's payment service. The laptop was supposed to ship by now but so far, no fuzzy bunny. I went to check the order status and again received the 500 internal server error. I chatted with an online rep who was less than helpful. Guess I'll check it tomorrow morning after 9:00 to see if it's working again. Ponderous.

Still getting the same error message. I could be wrong, but this seems to be more than just routine maintenance being conducted on their servers.
Regardless, why isn't Lenovo communicating with its customers? First, estimated shipping dates change every couple of days with no customer notification. The only way to keep tabs on an order is through the "order status" link, which now points to a server error message.
How about Lenovo actually making the effort to communicate with its customers? It's not that difficult! Even better is the fact that customer service reps are unable to check status because of the same server error.
Lenovo, what is going on???

Yup, still doesn't work. They really need to fix this.
