Just bought a new Lenovo G470...
The computer has shown the blue screen twice (in less than a week's use) + the micro sd drive does not work..
So yesterday I called support and they enticed me into buying warranty that covers home visits --- I mean how freaking ridiculous that the do that ... given that they should own up to the hardware and perhaps s/w issue in my computer and fix it..
I tried calling them a gazillion times today -- I get connected but then I cant seem to get to anyone as their computer is not recognizing the optioons that I press on my phone.. I tried 3 different phone and nothing..
is this normal?
I want to return my computer for a full refund.. is this possible???

Hi Sac,
I'm sorry for you already have problem with your system in a week of use.
In regard to the blue screen(or called it BSOD), did you update or install any software or hardware prior to this BSOD?
Also, can you explain a little bit more about the "micro sd drive does not work"?
Which number did you call and didn't get through? At which period of time did you make the call? I'm sorry i have to be that specified so the person in charge can iron out the root cause easily.
Many thanks!
- Cleo
P.S Regarding full refund, we recommend to give a try at service centre and if it still does not work, then a refund is possible. Restocking fees may apply but depends on situation.

I am having the same problem with my G470 that I purchased in July 2011. How do i go about fixing this problem? I already checked all of the basic connections to make sure everything was secure. It happens a couple times of day that I get the bluescreen. Today a new thing happened where it just went black and turned off. Help please!
