Problems with lenovo care warranty registration.

Hi,

I just bought my Lenovo G470 here in singapore during COMEX. and they told me that i just need to regiter online for my warranty. 

So when i got home, i tried to regiter in services.lenovo.com/regitration . I followed the procedure stated in the cover.

Funny thing was, after I tick "I Agree" and click submit button, it stated below, "Invalid Serial number".

Then i redo all and be sure that all details are correct, still same problem. Invalid Serial Number.

Then I tried to check the warranty status of my unit and key-in my serial number, it shows in the screen that the warranty expires on june 2012.

FYI: I just bought this G470 this afternoon.

Maybe you can help.. Warranty

hi I did buy my g470 in kuala lumpur malaysia and did try to register on the french levono service but it failed to find it but i did try again on the malayia/english subsection and it found it but i did not continue ... can you detail how the worldwide warranty works ? my device is one of those failed intel chips ... so what next ?
