Series number

I just bought a Thank Pad at a yard sale and trying to find out what series it is. Does anyone out there know how I can found out what series it is? Please let me know.

On the bottom of your laptop should be a sticker with e.g.: TYPE 2647-4MU S/N XX-XXXXXX 07/02 or something like that.

Go to this webpage http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/homeLenovo.do and type in the bold numbers/letter combo where it says: Enter a product number.

That will give you the original data for when it was new. You'll also find all drivers and manuals there.
