I am from Russia. I bought laptop ThinkPad w520 (4270CTO) from USA's shop.lenovo.com because it is more cheaper (in Russia its price ~$3000 even now after w530 release). After several months of use I have had problems similar to those described here: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/W-Series-ThinkPad-Lap
I carried it in service center listed on the https://shopap.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e
And now I can not send the laptop in either the U.S. or in Canada because warranty period expired 8 May 2012.
Can you advise me how to act in these circumstances? I see only one solution: to sue them for the loss of warranty due to their fault.
