I recently bought a T420s online and added the option of 3-year warranty, however, when I was querying online it shows only 1 year of warranty.
I have called the sales support number to confirm with the CSR that my order does have 3 year warranty, is there any way for me to update the information at online warranty database?
My serial number is xxxxxxx and order id is xxxxxxx. Thanks!

It will automatically update within 3 - 4 weeks of original purchase.
Do bear in mind that the three year warranty begins from the date of original sale of the machine.
Regards.

It has been sitting with me for almost 3 weeks now, no up date can be found so far. I am very curious why it could not get update on a real time basis.

Hi vsfan
I have this issue in the beginning when I purchased my W520, contact Lenovo Support and they would update it, (it may took up to 30 days for processing of warranty updates)
Most probably when you purchased the machine, it is already in the store for quite some time.
Cheers
