I'm not sure what I did but a problem appeared on Sunday when I powered on my new IdeaPad. There are a series of "Force close" messages that cycle over and over. There are about 6 to 8 different process that seem to be generating these messages. This is preventing me from access any of the applications including the settings function. I bought this unit a week before Thanksgiving and loaded several apps and everything appeared OK until Sunday morning. I tried to attach several photos of some of the different messages but the cut and past from Word does not work with pictures. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue would be welcomed.
I've searched this forum for answer and the web but have not found any answers. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick responce to my question. Yes it is a IdeaPad K1 loaded with Android 3.1. I am able to power on and off normaly using the power buton on the left hand side (or top) of the unit. Holding down the power button for about 30 seconds when the unit is already on just turns the unit off, it does not cause a reboot of the OS.
All of the hard key/buttons (power on/off, volume, and screen lock) seem to work OK. It is only once I unlock the screen after power on that the Force Close messages appear. They just cycleing over and over again. Some seem to close on their own others require human interaction. There seems to be about 8 of these force close messages. Most of them I think refer to Android process i.e. process com.google.android.finsky, process com.google.android.apps.maps, and process com.android.email. There are others.

Samething happened to me, I sent my K1 in for reflashing, call support first, they will give you the info you need to ship it, you pay for the shipping to, they pay for the return shipping.

Yea, I was thinking that I would need to call the support line this week end. I have 2 questions for you. Has the K1 been stable after the reflash process and do you or Lenovo understnad or know what caused the problem?

I would love find a way to force the K1 to update to 3.2 with all of the force close messages I'm getting. I read in another thread that if you down load the latest update and on a bootup you hold down the Volume up button and the Power on button that would force an update. But I have not been able to find a way to download the update file with all of the force close messages cycling on the desk top getting in my way. I can do any application including the settings or browser. It has been very frustrating.

Have you tried updating latest OS upgrade 3.2 ? Go to Settings --> Tablet [Last Option] -> Check System update
Try this and if you still get error Leveno IME something again to go settings --> keyboard & input --> Uncheck the checkbox for Lenovo Keyboard.
[I dont have my ideapad right now with me so not sure about exact option name]
