B500--- USB Device not recognized error at startup

Question

I have a B500 

whenever I  start them, after windows loads they are giving me an error, "USB device not recognized" I am not sure what to do any help will be greatly appreciated as this is strange that both the machines are giving the same error,

Answer

That error usually comes up when a non bootable USB device is connected. Check the Bios and make sure the CD and HDD drive are the ones loading first. That should fix your issue. If not then make sure you have no thumbdrive or external HDD plugged in until the PC loads.

I have a B310 with a similar problem. Sometimes the internal webcam (USB 2.0) and mic are not detected - but most times they are. The problem can usually be remedied by a restart, but could this also be a BIOS problem? (I  am not familiar with the BIOS!!)
