Bluetooth issue

Hi,

Not sure if anyone can help me but here it goes.

I just bought the Ideacentre B500 and tried to sync the bluetooth keyboard and mouse.  The mouse works fine but the keyboard battery light keeps on blinking.  I tried to re pair it and entered the code and it works fine.  Once I installed Itunes, then both the mouse and keyboard goes back to the blinking state and not work.  I located the keyboard and mouse on my hardware page and tried to remove and add again but then nothing happens.

Therefore, i one key recovered the comp since it was new and nothing is on it, then it works fine again.  Once I installed itunes, the same thing happens.

Does anybody have a solutions for this?  Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Bluetooth issue

Hi Wazzup, and welcome to the Lenovo User Community!

Did you make the configuration changes in Mark_Lenovo's post?

I don't work for Lenovo. I'm a crazy volunteer!

Re: Bluetooth issue

I just bought the IdeaCentre B500 and I am having the same issues as Wazzup.  The bluetooth connection between the keyboard and mouse does not work very well.  The mouse and especially the keyboard both do not respond sometimes after the computer is brought up from sleep mode and/or restarted.  When they do work, it takes a minute or two and it seems to help if I hold the mouse in the air for several seconds until the red light underneath starts blinking.  Is there a fix for this issue?  Is there another way to use the keyboard and mouse with IR or something else?

I also have issues using my "networked' printers.  I can add them and the printers work fine, until I shut down the computer.  After a restart I must "remove" the printers and once again "add" them for the printers to work.  If I just put the computer to "sleep" and do not completely shut it down, then the printers are recognized fine and work fine when it awakens.  Any ideas?

Thanks.

Re: Bluetooth issue

I'm using a usb mouse and you still have to wait a minute or two after coming out of sleep. Seems it's more of a sleep issue than bluetooth.
