I recently purchased an IdeaCentre K210 and decided to install Windows XP Professional.  After getting the drivers for XP installed I tried looking online for how to install the software that came with the system (namely the DVD playback software).  Is there any way of getting the software back?

I called support to request a back up DVD. They told me that if something happen I can use the recovery partition. My question was what if the hard drive failed, what good is a recovery partitions going to do me. They said the would send me a recovery DVD and that was 3 month ago. If you get an answer it might help me. Good Luck
