Hi, I have an IdeaCentre K210 system that came standard with 3GB of RAM and would like to upgrade to 4GB, preferably 6GB of RAM and would appreciate H-E-L-P!
I assume that I have 2GB module and a 1GB module and will have to "throw away" the 1GB RAM and have 2 questions. first, WHAT type of RAM does the IdeaCentre K210 have (what type of RAM do I need to purchase) and second, can the system "handle" 6GB or is 4GB the maxium capacity available on the IdeaCentre K210 system?
Thank you,
Bob
P.S.- so far the only upgrades that I have made was adding another 500GB HDD (for a total of 1T), are their any upgrades that someone has made that they would recommend to the IdeaCentre K210 for other users to consider?

I believe but am not sure that I identified the memory modules (see below) so my remaining question is can REPLACE the 1G module with a 4G DDR2 667 SODMM module or is 2G the maximum that I can place in each (G total capacity)?
Thanks,
Bob

Can you run Everest to see what chipset do you have?
