I've never been able to complete a system backup; I get error messages such as: 0X8007005 & 0X800703EE.
The verbiage says' failed to complete'. Anybody have a clue ? Ten DVD's wasted.

As you are unable to create the backup of the system. I would suggest you to please restore the operating system by using the OneKey Recovery.
Turn on the computer. When the Lenovo logo appears, press the F2 key on the keyboard to start the Rescue System, then you can select OneKey Recovery.
After that please please click Start, All Programs, Lenovo, Lenovo Rescue system. Click system backup to back up your system partition according to the prompts.
After this please check if the issue resolved.
