It´s getting very ...
I don´t understand, why the lenovo support can´t just connect via teamviewer software to e.g. my computer. Just tell me a date and a time and I will make it possible, that the support team gets a connection.
I don´t see any reason, why anybody should ship a computer around the world? ... besides... this won´t be just the shipment cost. I guess, we will have a lot of fun with the customs...

Yes I found this very same problem with two Q180 boxes that I bought a few days ago.
Everything works fine with Windows 7 64bit except the audio. Just no joy from the analogue port. I tried the XP driver and the Vista 32/64 drivers to no avail. All sorts of combinations and tricks.
Does a driver from another Lenovo PC work? One from the latest issued drivers?
This really is a poor show from a leading manufacturer. I cant remember buying a product that a fundamental part of it wasnt supported/didnt work.
I may well start adding this point to online reviews and stores re. this product. Could be a showstopper for some.

Reading back through this is seems the solution is possibly quite simple.
1. Lots of us have bought the DOS version with no drivers for Windows.
2. Lots of us are installing Windows 7 64bit.
3. The supplied driver on the download site for the Q180 isnt the proper working 64bit Windows 7 driver.
4. The Q180s supplied with Windows 7 64bit by Lenovo have working audio, so they must have the correct driver.
5. Lenovo just needs to supply that driver on the downloads page.
Seems to me someone has maybe just put the wrong driver up on the support page.
Proabably will take someone 10 minutes to fix.

As per an earlier post from another user I've tried a selection of newer Realtek drivers and they dont work.
Can anyone with a working Q180 with 64bit windows actually tell us what the HD Audio hardware is and also if they can tell us the driver details? Maybe even post them up somewhere?
Seems like that might be quicker than Lenovo.

So no one on the forum has a Q180 running Windows 64bit with a working audio driver?
No one?
Maybe we just need a generic thread saying "Q180 owners click here!" hoping that someone who bought one might click on it and give us the detials.
I cant beleive how long Lenovo are taking over something so simple as making the right driver available. It's not like we are asking for a whole new driver to be written.

Here in this forum, a couple of times "lenovo specialists" promised us to look for a solution.
I am 100% sure, that we won´t get any help here.
I bought myself a 5 Euro USB soundcard and pluged it in...
I am through with lenovo products... NEVER NEVER ever I will buy anything from lenovo.

It is odd that the biggest support topic on the forum for a very simple problem has had next to zero support from Lenovo.
