This is now a 2nd request for the A1107 ICS Kernel Source and any platform source changes that fall under the Apache and GPL Licenses.
Please consider this a formal request seeing as how this version of the A1 is being sold in stores.
This device is being sold at Best Buy with ICS Pre-Loaded.
Mark even mentioned it here:

Best Buy's Spec sheet:
Please provide a link to the sources for this device.
Thank you.

This is not a Lenovo monitored site. The Lenovo employees are here to assist users. They do not represent official Lenovo support. You need to call/write to Lenovo directly. You will not get an official response from this site. It is strictly user oriented.

smalcom,
This is a Lenovo owned forum, however as you point out it is peer to peer and we can't guarantee a Lenovo employee response to every comment or topic. That said, we are aware of this request and are working with the appropriate product team to make the ICS source for the a1-107 product available.
I appreciate your patience on this!
Best regards,
Mark

Mark.
I am well aware that this is a Lenovo-owned site. I was just trying to tell the user that this is not an "official" method of communicating with Lenovo. I realize that all of you "Lenovo's" are expert in the field, and carry back requests to headquarters. As you are aware, people sign on and rant and rave to Lenovo as though this was customer service. I was attempting to let the user know that this was a peer-to-peer forum. I should have used that term.
Is there an A1107 that is running ICS? I don't see it on the Lenovo web site, but I followed the link to Best Buy. Will it be available on the Lenovo site? I would buy it now, if I could. I would dump my A1 and get the A1 with ICS if this is true, unless you can tell me that eventually ICS will be released for my current A1. Thanks for your help.
Steve

Thanks Mark.
I look forward to your response and the link to source when it's published.

Mark, any update on this yet?

Hi All,
Mark mentioned to me about this A1 ICS source code. I'm glad that I've finally received it from engineering team. It is now available via this this temporary link.
Please take note that this is for development use only. The same source code has been shared with gmarkall and I'd love to hear his test result.
Best regards,
Cleo

I've briefly tried out the ICS source code, and this is what I've had time to discover:
X-Loader: this seems to be fine.
U-Boot: this seems to be fine.
Kernel: This builds, but several things do not work with it: camera, video playback, GPS - maybe other things as well but I've not had time to check.
Wifi driver: This looks like the wifi driver from the Gingerbread source release, instead of the ICS one - I haven't had time to verify this though.
It seems like the kernel might have been from an early version of the build. I've been trying to run it with the latest 0116 OTA, and I've been building it using the provided omap3621_cl1_defconfig.

I just marked the post with the link to the source code as the solution, in order that people can jump to it quickly - this is in keeping with the other source thread.

Graham,
Thanks. Thanks for the testing and feedback as well... will follow up based on your comments and see what we can do.
Cleo,
Thanks for making this happen! Sounds like we still have a bit more to do...
Smalcom,
Ah, ok. Apologies for missing your intent in your prior post - I do appreciate your trying to help set expectations here.
As far as I know, the 107 model with ICS is Best Buy specific model and therefore won't be available through Lenovo.com.
