Good morning all. I just got an A1 yesterday and love it so far. I plan to root and do a couple things and it should work perfectly. I do have one issue that I can't seem to find an answer on. I have an original Droid smartphone and it is rooted. I have a wi-fi sharing app that works fine with the laptop. I am able to see the access point, connect, and browse the internet with no issues.
However, my A1 will not find the access point. Even when I manually type in the SSID, it won't connect. I downloaded a different wi-fi app from google play and I was able to find the network and connect but nothing worked correctly. The message I got was: "standard android does not support connecting to ibss (ad-hoc) networks"
Does anyone know how to make this work? Surely someone has a tethered connection between their phone and tablet.
