Any Skype Video that will work with the A1 ?

This NEEDS to be fixed by Lenovo!

I bought this A1 as a test. The Lenovo ad said Skype worked. If it's not fixed, I will not consider another Lenovo product of ANY kind and will make sure others hear about how I feel.

tried it with tango. it works. it just the receiving picture shown upside down.

As reported, Google Talk video works just fine and even alows swapping cameras. This problem would appear to be a Skype thing.

My problem is I have had my Skype for years! AND, I have paid for a Skype in phone number that we use extensively when cruising on our boat to foreign countries. It's not the time to change phone numbers for us.

Skype voice calls work perfectly well. It's only Skype video that's fracked.

This TABLET SUCKS! SUCKS! SUCKS! Not a single video calling app works for it, at least internationally! I'll have my mother return it tomorrow! I'm buying her the galaxy tab instead! #%$?!

What part of "Google Talk Video works" was unclear?

I would agree there are problems and I certainly agree that Skype Video needs to be fixed ASAP, but "not a single video calling app" is simply untrue.  Google Talk Video even lets you swap between cameras on the device -- so it's clearly not the device or it's cameras that are at fault here... it's Skype.

Google Talk? This same message thread said Tango worked. Someone also said Fring worked. They didn't. Google Talk isn't a solution for me. It is only available on Andriod. I can try and see if it works on my PC in Japan to A1 in the U.S. also my wife's iPhone cannot get google talk, it isn't available like Fring and Tango and Skype are.
