Copying files to Computer

Hi all

If you do not have any USB connectors from tablet to PC, is there any apps which allows you to transfer your files from tablet to PC through Wi-Fi or other alternatives?

Usually I just use dropbox.

Dropbox works. If you have BlueTooth that work well too.

I use SwiFTP on my tablet to provide an FTP server and Filezilla on my PC to transfer files directly between the two.

Ha, I'd never think of that method! It'd be nice to give a try. Anything that needs to be noted while setting up the connection? Just thinking that it may save the hassle in case someone bumps into them.

When you set up SwiFTP, you pick a user name and password to use in order to connect to the server. Once the server is started, the IP address and the port are displayed on the tablet's screen, similar to: 192.168.1.5:2121 where the port numbr follows the colon.

You then configure FileZilla by choosing the Site Manager (either from the File menu or from the toolbar) and then creating a new site. You'd specify the IP address and port number from the tablet display, and the user name and password that you picked during setup of SwiFTP.

Once you connect to the server, you can see a directory tree for your PC in one pane and a directory tree for the tablet in another pane. Just drag-and-drop files to move them back and forth.

Es file explorer. Enable file sharing and read and write to your computer shared folder/deive.

WiFi Explorer. Dirt simple, Start it on the tablet. It shows an IP and port you put into a browser window on your PC. Open a web browser on the the PC and you see the Tablet's contents. You can organize, upload, download, etc.

You could copy to a microSD card, and put the card into a card slot on the computer, but if you don't have a USB port, you probably don't have a card slot.
