Used to work, but somewhere along the way it has stopped. When I play videos, or anything with sound, and plug in headphones, the sound continues to come out of the lame K1 speakers and not the headphones. The headphones work fine in other devices, and I've tried other headphones in the K! that also work elsewhere.
Anyone have this problem?

Does the little headphone icon down by the clock appear when you plug in the headphones?
Did you try turning the K1 off and on again?

I have this same problem. I have tried restarting it. While the headphones are plugged in the symbol does not appear at the bottom of the screen.

I called Lenovo support and they gave me a tracking number for return. Apparently I have to pay the shipping to them (lame) and I should expect a factory reset or new device. I'm pretty displeased with this response from Lenovo.

@lukesed, kudos for trying to troubleshoot and provide more information so others can identify a pattern.
It could be software related but I don't think it's the Lenovo app store. The headset on my K1 still works and I've updated the Lenovo app store.

I bit the bullet and just did a factory reset. Now my tablet is stuck at this screen:
Erasing Userdata...
Unrecoverable bootloader error (0x19000008).
Oh joy. Any suggestions?
