Re: K1 Auto brightness issue

Just go to "Settings", "Screen", clkck on "Brightness" and uncheck the Automatic brightness box, then if need be move the slider to the far right. I have had mine that way for months, the battery still lasts most of the day and I have none of the problems everyone complains about....

Re: K1 Auto brightness issue

Hi all,

I have had someupdate from the engineering side and it appears that it is picking up the issue on one of the updates that went through. Engineering is currently working on this and will update all once a feedback from them is provided.

Will keep you posted soon.

Re: K1 Auto brightness issue

I've been having the same problem since I bought the K1 in Feb 10, 2012 with Honeycomb loaded. I've updated to ICS 4.04 and the problem has gotten worst. I've unchecked the auto brightness and set the brightness to full doesn't improve the situation.

I called customer service and they told me to send it in for warranty repair.....I'll wait to see if Nine has a fix for whitesnakes problem...I would hate to get the same run around..which sounds like we would all end up with the same lack of treatment. I was also told that I had to pay for shipping for warranty repair. I guess if you buy a faulty product, the consumer must pay more to get things resolved.
