K1 Question on OS

Its been awhile since I posted here. Seems that the ICS update from Lenovo makes the K1 into a Xoom. If that's the case the Xoom (Motorola) just received the new Jelly Bean OS wil this work on the K1?

Unfortunately not. The reason the K1 may report itself as a Xoom is just because of a simple build.prop edit. The devicess still have very different hardware, so a Rom for one will not work on the other.

I thought I replied to this message a few minutes ago but can't find it anywhere. Hope I'm not double posting. But here goes.

I have a friend with an A1. He did the ICS upgrade and now has no USB connectivity and several apps that no longer work.

I sent him a link to a thread that may help him cure the USB problem. 

Question now is Does the A1 have a build.prop edit that can fool the device into "thinking" it is a different device that will solve the app compatibility issues?
