K1 screen won't stay on.

So I finally tried to do the K1 update, and ever since the screen won't stay on for more than 5 seconds before it goes back into sleep mode...

Any suggestions?

Tried autobrightness off?

Hey Sara, I am experiencing the same problem. I atribute it to the most recent update to Honeycomb. My K1 screen will not stay on after coming out of standby, screen stays on for a few seconds, long enough for me to unlock it, then it goes back into standby and repeat. I can only get it out out this cycleby holding the power button for the split second the lock screen is up and logging off and rebooting.

Was this your issue too? And did taking off auto brightness solve it for you?

Because turning off auto brightness DID NOT resolve the issue for me.

...PLEASE HELP... Does anyone else out there have any other ideas that might resolve this? Thanks in advance. =o)

I just started getting this problem, and I have not had any recent updates to attribute to this issue. Did you figure out why it wont let you recover it from standby?

Did you check that auto brightness is off?
