Lenovo K1 rebooting at lenovo screen - Please HELP!!

After OTA update, K1 does not go beyond lenovo screen, keeps rebooting.

Assuming some files might have been corrupted, tried the "rooting method" . I have tried different method of rooting - eg. windoze, k1-v2 etc. All of them shows it goes thru formatting, then uploading some files, no errors. Then it reboots. And same thing happens, it keeps rebooting after at the lenovo screen.

Can some one please help trouble shooting this K1. What am I doing wrong? What else can be tried?

did you let it boot for an hour? Some lenovo tech told me that sometimes it takes 50x appearance of the lenovo screen and running lines to gt a k1 to boot when a motherboard replacement or something has ben fiddled with. It could be that your firmware update requires your k1 with specific built time to configure itself.

I'm looking for an answer to this as well. I've left mine on overnite trying to get it to cycle through and work. Nope.

return your k1 and ask for a refund. It will save you alot of aggravation.

So there is no solution to this. Nothing like "reinstalling" the operating system?

its either bricked or not. If its bricked i have no idea how to unbrick it. Maybe u can search the forum. If there is no way to unbrick it send it back to lenovo which is a good thing because you can ask for a refund now. I envy you if you can return it and get your money back because you can get a other tablets and that actually works without making you feel like a beta tester.

I used my new K1 for couple of weeks which I bought in December 2011. After last update it worked for a day or two and then suddenly it went to the loop of restarting at Lenovo/Nividia logos. Not moving any further.

I bought my unit from US but unfortunately its in another place now, so I contacted local Lenovo Support. Its almost getting 3 weeks and they didnt open a trouble ticket yet. Such a hopeless product and service.

Your out of luck. Lenovo only has regional warranty for their ideapad.
