I have not tried it yet Fred, but the reports I'm seeing are that Lenovo fixed the GPS issue that was causing the Google Maps reboot. So from all indications, it should be fixed.

Skype apparently still has a problem from the reports that I'm seeing.

I've upgraded to 2643 and upgraded Google Maps to 6.3.0.

Everything is fine except the Google maps couldn't be stopped by "Stop" in the application manager.

My solution is to go to the application manager -> download -> Google Maps, then clear the data. . .

We saw there were many updates in Asia and don't know why America has no update and still using the 2375 Rom?  Should Lenovo answers that question?  Does America is neglected?

I installed 2643 2 days ago and so far it works great. I had a problem where the touch screen didn't work properly (duplicate keys and some icons could not be selected) when I held it in my hands. this problem hasn't apeared again and google Maps works too. Highly recommended.

I can't figure out how to re-root the device after the update. Does anybody how to do it and can explain to Android non-experts?
