Solved: GPS lock time for m. Unresolved: WIFI sometimes just cycles ... connects to some not others...I need to test it further... Now Google sky works... Compass points west... Unresolved: autobrightness...still messes up with wake from stand by dimming the screen imidiatly after wake..Needing to reboot machine or turn off auto dim...the hardware is there working fine until you press the powerbotton briefly for sleep/standby... So far what has caught my attention from problems experienced...

A simple compas and level app will tell LENOVO engineers how the ideapad k1 meassures. up or down, west north, left right...GPS hopefully does not use this since they are completely OFF!!!!!!

I have recently updated my k1 to to the new version, I have not tested out the gps mainly since when I try most apps i get a forced closed. I'm socked I'm even online with it. It did great after the last update and I was hesitant to update. But it thought I would be okay. So far I've enormous force close and my NWA launcher won't run. I can get online but that's about it. I want the K1 I had before the update. Is there anyway to roll back?

I've noticed the auto dim on my K1 only struggles in low-light conditions. If I wake it and the screen blacks out, I hold it up to a bright light and the screen comes up. It looks like the default low light level is too low. Should be an easy fix...
