Three navigation buttons

While I find the A1 to be a great device I find the non illiumination of the navigation buttons to be very irritating at times. Has anybody discovered a way to change this so the buttons remain permanently lit as on the Samsung Galaxy.I understand if you root the device something can be done but i think you would need to be an expert to carryout.

No method available to turn the buttons on. Not sure if rooting the tablet would give you the ability to turn them on and off at will. Would be nice if in a future system update Lenovo gave us the option to waste the battery and turn them on. Mark_Lenovo, could you pass this along to the powers that be?
